Lilly Singh
Lilly Saini Singh (; born 26 September 1988), better known by her YouTube username Superwoman (styled "IISuperwomanII"), is a Canadian YouTube personality, vlogger, comedian, rapper, actress, and motivational speaker. Since beginning her channel in October 2010, her videos have gathered over 1 billion views and her channel has over 7.2 million subscribers. In 2015, she ranked 8th on the Forbes list of World's Highest Paid YouTube Stars, earning $2.5 million pre tax in 2015.

Lilly Singh was born on September 26, 1988 in Scarborough, Ontario, Canada, to Malwinder and Sukhwinder Singh, who are originally from Punjab, India. She has an older sister named Tina. Singh has described herself as a tomboy during her childhood years. She attended Mary Shadd Public School during her elementary years and high school at Lester B. Pearson Collegiate Institute, and graduated in 2006. She has a bachelor's degree in psychology from York University .〔 She shared a deep bonding with her late maternal grandfather whom she called 'Nanaji', a Punjabi word for the same.〔 Singh shares a strong connection with her Punjabi heritage, and says that she likes visiting India. Singh has struggled with depression and had feelings of unhappiness before she started her YouTube career. She began making YouTube videos to self-medicate and to help herself and others feel happier.
